PRR E8: Tuscan Red rolls again!

After a 4 year absence from Altoona Railfest, Juniata Terminal’s beautifully restored Pennsylvania Railroad EMD E8 locomotives have returned to the high iron! As part of Railfest, the Es pulled the “Gateway Tripper”, a round trip excursion from Altoona to Pittsburgh and back. This clip features the train arriving and being parked in Penn Station in downtown Pittsburgh. Also included is a NS RoadRailer train, powered by two GE C40-9Ws. Video shot on July 7, 2007.
